Dance Attire
Girls:
*Pre-school
- Hair up
- Any color leotard and tights
- Pink ballet shoes, white, black or tan tap shoes
***Please get tap ties or ponytail holders to fasten tap shoes rather than ribbons
*Other
- Hair should be worn completely off the neck for ballet and out of the face for all other classes.
- Leotards and Tights may be any color. Only leotard, tights and ballet skirts are allowed for ballet…no pants, shirts or shorts. Jazz pants, shorts and fitted shirts are allowed for other classes. Ballet skirts may not be worn the first month of class.
-Shoes:
- Ballet - Pink leather (split sole for older levels and canvas for advanced)
- Pointe - pink
- Pre-pointe - pink
- Jazz - black or tan split sole, preferably slip on, jazz tennis shoes also allowed for some older classes
- Tap - Tan “Mary Jane” style for elementary levels & black oxford style for intermediate & advanced levels
- Acro - jazz shoes or barefoot
Male:
*Pre-school
- Boys may wear a t-shirt and shorts or athletic pants
- Ballet and tap shoes should be black.
*Other
- Boys may wear any solid color T-shirt and stretch pants for all classes.
-Shoes:
Ballet - Black split sole
Jazz - black or tan split sole, jazz tennis shoes also allowed
Tap - black oxford style
Acro - jazz shoes or barefoot
